This list will be ongoing as I hear or think about specific “out of tune” tunes, and can only be made better if you contribute.
Deadline for completion is June 30th, 2025.

Please be sure to check back once or twice a year to see where we are at with this. I’m thinking that by 2018 at least we should have something deemed definitive.
I’ll start the first two that I was just listening to back to back, and they were definitely more than slightly out of tune, yet still sounded good. I am including links to quotes about the writing and recording of the songs, not to the recordings themselves, as I am sure you can find them anywhere on your own:
